NEWS The FFV Summer League Competition has been renamed as The Champions League. All players have been invited to try-out for this competition. Trials wereheld at Esther Park (our home grounds) during the first two weeks of September. Download the information flyer here.
The Mooroolbark Junior Soccer Club AGM was held on Saturday 12th September, from 4pm to 5pm.
Please note we NEED additional people to join our committee for next year, with a vision to the future of our club. Many hands make light work they say—let’s prove it!!! Some members of our executive committee stepped down this year, so we need more volunteers to step up and make the job of running this wonderful club possible. Please contact a member of the Executive Committee for more information.
Small Sided Football participants had their presentation barbecue on Saturday 5th September kicking off directly after their Gala Day, which will have SSF visitors from other local clubs in the area competed in a round robin.
Our Under 10, 11s, 12s, and 13s had their Presentation event on Saturday 12th September from 1pm to 5pm. Then to finalise our season, we held our Presentation event for our older teams, Under 14s, 15s, 16s, and both our girls teams, Under 15s and 18s. This was held on Saturday 12th September from 4pm to 8pm. Our Under 18s boys were also invited to attend this presentation, and some awards will be handed out to the boys who qualify.
We request expressions of interest for the role of Canteen Manager for the 2010 season. Please see a committee member if you are interested in this position. Our canteen is normally a revenue maker for our club, and we would like to continue to offer this service.
Summer games at MJSC - We’re planning on running a ‘7 a side’ tournament at our club from the end of the season up until Christmas (probably on Friday evenings). More details to follow, but have a think about it, it’ll keep the kids involved, fit and having fun.
Registration Days for 2010 First Registration Day - December 6th 2009 Second Registration Day - February 13th 2009 Minimum of $100 to be paid by each registrant upon registration. Places in teams will not be guaranteed. If, after registration, a place in a team is not available a full refund will be given.
