Mocktails – celebrating Dry July

We know that time off from alcohol has many benefits: your wallet, better sleep, more energy and no hangovers!
Last July it was reported that an average of 11,181 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer. Dry July raises funds to go towards cancer support organisations across Australia, to help improve patient comfort, care and wellbeing.Whatever your reason to partake in Dry July, it’s time to celebrate the deliciousness of non-alcoholic drinks, aka Mocktails.
EASY PEASY MOCKTAILS
You can make incredible looking, deliciously refreshing mocktails with ease.Simply fill your glass of choice with ice, a dash of Barker’s fruit cordial, top with soda water and embellish with beautiful garnishes, such as slices of fresh or dehydrated fruit or edible flowers, just as Julia & Libby created for Barker’s some time back.
To impress, they should look as delicious to the eye as they do to the tastebuds!

A LITTLE FANCY
You can step up your mocktail creativity a notch by adding some special ingredients for special occasions. In most instances any cocktail can become a mocktail by excluding the alcohol – as do these delights. - Jamtini (featuring Raspberry Jam)
- Citrus Melon Mojito (featuring Squeezed Lemons with Lime, Cucumber & Mint)
- Berry Botanical Spritz (featuring Squeezed Blackcurrants)
- Summer Sangria (featuring Squeezed Redcurrants with Cranberry & Pomegranate )

Barker’s cordials are available in the cordial aisle of your local Coles supermarket.
