New Yorker Mustard Relish Glazed Chicken Burger

INGREDIENTS

Makes 4 Burgers

  •  4x brioche burger buns, sliced in half
  • 2x chicken breast fillets, sliced into tenders
  • 1x jar of Barker’s of New Zealand NY Mustard Relish
  • 8x slices of streaky bacon
  • 1x cup of rocket leaves
  • 3x Roma tomatoes, sliced
  • 4x slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • Butter to spread
  • Salt & pepper to taste

METHOD

  1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius
  2. Place sliced chicken tenders into a bowl and toss with half a jar of Barker’s of New Zealand NY Mustard Relish until fully coated
  3. Arrange chicken tenders on a lined baking tray and cook in the oven for 10-12 minutes
  4. Fry bacon in a frying pan while the chicken cooks
  5. Toast buttered burger buns in a separate pan until toasted on both sides
  6. Mix the remaining half of the Barker’s of New Zealand NY Mustard Relish with mayonnaise to create a delicious burger sauce
  7. Dollop the burger sauce on each slice of the brioche bun
  8. Assemble the rest of the burger by adding rocket leaves, sliced Roma tomato, Swiss cheese, chicken tenders and bacon.
  9. Close it up and enjoy every last, tasty bite!
