Apple Gingerbread Caramel Crumble

Craving dessert in a hurry? This quick air fryer apple crumble is packed with flavour from Barker’s Gingerbread Caramel Sauce and ready in just 10 minutes. All the comfort of a classic crumble — with way less effort.

Ingredients

Filling:

  • 2 pink lady apples, cored and cubed
  • 1/2 tsp corn flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 Tbsp Barker's Gingerbread Caramel Dessert Sauce

Crumble Topping:

  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 2 Tbsp Flour
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 Tbsp Butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup or honey

Method

  1. In a bowl, toss apples with cornstarch, salt and Gingerbread Caramel Sauce. Divide into small ramekins.
  2. In another bowl, mix oats, flour, cinnamon, salt, butter, and maple syrup until crumbly.
  3. Spoon crumble over the apples.
  4. Air fry at 180°C for 8-10 mins until golden and bubbling.
  5. Serve with a scoop of ice cream and an extra drizzle of Barker’s Gingerbread Caramel Dessert Sauce.
